II. Tackling Industry Pain Points: Polyrocks Hydro-Friend Introduces Efficient and Stable New Approaches for AEM Water Electrolysis!

Electrode Challenges: The Dual Hurdles of Catalyst Activity Degradation and Insufficient Adhesion
Currently, whether preparing membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) via the CCS or CCM route, catalyst activity degradation is relatively common. Catalysts are the "power source" for the water electrolysis reaction; reduced activity leads to a sharp drop in reaction rate. To maintain hydrogen output, the electrolyzer's voltage surges, affecting system stability. Insufficient adhesion is equally problematic. If layers within the MEA are not tightly bonded, catalysts are prone to detachment during operation, leading to increased contact resistance, reduced electrolysis efficiency, and higher energy consumption
To address these issues, Polyrocks Hydro-Friend launched a specialized polyelectrolyte solution for catalyst layer preparation (AEMemr®-PAI-1-5E). This product combines efficient ion conductivity with excellent durability. It facilitates efficient agglomeration and assembly with various catalysts, ensuring unobstructed mass transport channels while effectively preventing catalyst layer detachment. Its performance has been proven over time in the market and is widely praised by customers. We cordially invite you to test and experience it!
High Efficiency & Stability: A Perfect Combination Ushers in a New Era for AEMW
The combination of the polyelectrolyte solution AEMemr®-PAI-1-5E and the high-strength anion exchange membrane AEMemr®-PAW-1-60 provides a highly efficient and stable solution for AEM Water Electrolysis (AEMWE).

Long-term galvanostatic operation tests show that this combination exhibits a voltage increase rate of less than 10 μV/h, demonstrating outstanding long-term stability. In the three key metrics of electrolysis efficiency, dynamic response, and long-term stability, Polyrocks' AEM membrane delivers exceptional performance, setting a new benchmark in the industry.
Anhui Polyrocks Hydro-Friend Technology Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Polyrocks Chemical (SH: 688669) and Hefei University of Technology. It focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of key materials for anion exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolysis hydrogen production. Leveraging the R&D advantages of the university-enterprise collaboration, the company possesses the proprietary AEMemr® series of core products, covering high-performance anion exchange membranes and China's first catalytically active ionomer capable of mass production. Upholding the pursuit of innovation and quality, the company aims to support the "Dual Carbon" goals through the industrialization of key materials and is dedicated to becoming a globally leading supplier of material solutions for AEM water electrolysis hydrogen production.
Hefei Momenta Energy Co., Ltd. was founded in 2021. The company specializes in the R&D and production of core materials and components for solid electrolyte membrane electrolyzers (PEM/AEM/CO₂RR). It has established a comprehensive product sequence for anode catalytic materials for electrolyzers and possesses proprietary technologies including straight-through-pore structured porous transport layers (Ti/Ni SP-PTL) and porous transport electrode (Ti/Ni PTE) processes, which hold promise for significantly improving electrolysis efficiency and reducing green hydrogen costs.
